Tips for becoming a runner
- Do not debate yourself whether to run, just run
- 20min is just 1.3% of a day
- don't change a bunch of habits at once, it's ok to get up late
- it sucks at beginning, you get freedom after a while.
- run outside, better find a a loop trail
- sign up for an event, it's like the boss in a video game
- don't think ahead, it's "practiced stoicism": pain is neither friend or enemy, it's a neighbor
- think of running as being an addict but socially acceptable
- think of it as asserting control over hurt/torment. not fixing them but owning them.
